Patch 10.2.6

• Plunderstorm is a unique, limited-time, 60-player Battle Royale-style event event inspired by the community, available to anyone with a WoW subscription.
• Plunderstorm is outside of normal World of Warcraft Realms - you will NOT be playing your regular characters, you will create a new, ready-to-play character.
• The characters you create for Plunderstorm are unique to this event.
• You do not need to know anything about current races and classes to play.
• There are three game modes, Solos, Duos, and Trios. If you queue for Duos or Trios you can play with one or two Battle.net friends, or the game will select you a random partner or two.
• Discover abilities and upgrades as you plunder - abilities and mechanics for Plunderstorm are unique to the event.
• Rewards are account-wide - you can earn rewards that will be available in Retail and Classic World of Warcraft.
• Plunderstorm is set in Arathi Highlands.

HOW TO GET STARTED WITH PLUNDERSTORM 

If you play modern World of Warcraft, all you need to do is hit Play as usual:

1. Select Plunderstorm from the World of Warcraft game menu.
2. Create a new, ready-to-play character.
3. Choose between Solos or Duos or Trios.

To play with your Battle.net friends make a group from the Plunderstorm character screen and select Duos or Trios. If you queued for Duos or Trios without a partner, you'll be automatically matched with other players.

PLUNDERSTORM SETTING AND GAMEPLAY

The aim of the game is simple:

• Kill creatures and enemies to level up and acquire spells and abilities
• Spells are upgraded by looting more copies of them
• You have a heal ability for when you have low health
• To win, be the last one standing

Once you have created your character and selected the Solos, Duos, or Trios queue, you will zone in to Brew Bay. Here you can explore, experiment, and talk to the Renown NPC while you wait for 60 players to fill your group.

Your UI Action Bar includes 7 action buttons. These are mapped to:

• R - Your Basic Attack
• T - Your Healing Potion
• 1 - An Offensive Ability
• 2 - An Offensive Ability
• 3 - A Defensive Ability
• 4 - A Defensive Ability
• 5 - An Item
