Patch 10.1.7

Fury Incarnate is a minor content patch. This guide will give an overview of the new content in Patch 10.1.7, including new Dreamsurge events, new Heritage Armor questlines for Night Elves and Forsaken, Holiday updates for Brewfest and Hallow's End, and more. The patch includes new quests, events, and cosmetic and profession updates. With new activities come new rewards and we cover all of the mounts, pets, and transmogs that you can expect as well.

Patch 10.1.7 is a minor patch, so no new raid or season. This patch includes:

• New Public Event: Dreamsurges
• Heritage Armor: Night Elf and Forsaken
• New Character Customizations including Man'ari Eredar
• Dawn of the Infinite Heroic Difficulty
• New Quests: the Campaign continues, Reforging Tyr, and more
• Holiday Refresh: Brewfest and Hallows End
• Dragonriding: Challenge Courses and More
• A new Ping system for in-game communication
• Open World Transmogs Lost to the Cataclysm are reintroduced

NEW PUBLIC EVENT: DREAMSURGES IN DRAGONFLIGHT: PATCH 10.1.7

Dreamsurges are new zone events that offer new challenges for all players and excellent catch-up opportunities for alts. Each week a different one of the original four Dragon Isles zones will experience a Dreamsurge. For that week the zone will offer the following:

• Dreaming Winds 25% increased experience for the entire zone
• A major Waking Dream portal invasion group event with objectives every 30 minutes
• Minor Waking Dream portals for small group and solo players
• A player chosen zone-wide buff every 30 minutes
• Rare mobs in the zone are empowered with more health, new abilities, and additional rewards
• World Quests will be focused on the active zone
• A weekly quest, caches, and treasures in the zone will drop event currency

DAWN OF THE INFINITE HEROIC DIFFICULTY IN DRAGONFLIGHT: PATCH 10.1.7

Usually the patch after the release of a new Mythic Mega-dungeon sees that dungeon split into two parts which become available on Heroic difficulty. Dawn of the Infinite is following the set pattern, and in Patch 10.1.7 becomes available as two Heroic Dungeons.

A Candy Bucket off-hand was datamined with 10.1.5. Hopefully this will make an appearance during Hallow's End.

Brewfest

So far Brewfest has some added cosmetics. A themed back transmog comes in two colors and will be available from the Trading Post, and a Dragonriding cosmetic armor set, Renewed Proto-Drake: Brewfest Armor, adds a keg to your saddle. 

NEW UI/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: PINGS

A new Ping system that may look familiar to Diablo 4 players is being introduced in Patch 10.1.7. For this system, G + Left-Mouse Button opens up a wheel allowing quick communications like Attack, Assist, Warning, and On My Way.
